Music Director – Dr.Thérèse Provenzano 

Thérèse Provenzano, Doctor of Musical Arts, earned undergraduate honors degrees in her majors of Music, English, Biology and Education from Brandeis University; Master of Music degrees with high honors in both music education/conducting and piano performance and a Masters in Biology from the University of Michigan; and the Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Music Education from Boston University. She studied piano with pianist Paul Badera-Skoda in Vienna, received the Phyllis Lee Coffey Award in Music at Brandeis, was a Dean's scholar at Boston University, and, in 1999, was awarded the Distinguished Arts Educator in Music for the state of Massachusetts by the Alliance for Arts Education. In the winter of 2001, Dr. Provenzano had the honor of studying with world-renowned musician/conductor, Sir Neville Marriner.

Dr. Provenzano was the Choral Director for the Weston Public Schools for over 20 years before moving to private teaching and continues to conduct the Weston Community Chorus.

In addition to her music, she also participates in whale research on Cape Cod and works with the rehabilitation of injured wild animals at Wild Care in Brewster.

 

 

   

 

Accompanist –  Paul Huberdeau

Mr. Huberdeau is an accomplished accompanist in the Metrowest area.  Having studied piano at The New England Conservatory, he has been heard in solo recitals from Maine to New York City, and has served as Music Director for dozens of musicals.  He has been both assistant conductor and accompanist for choirs at Regis College in Wellesley and The Rivers School Conservatory in Weston for the last 20 years.  He has also been the accompanist for the Golden Tones, a senior singing group based in Natick, for over 2 decades.  Mr. Huberdeau also teaches piano privately.
